Korowai Tribe And Their Incredible Tree Houses
Can you imagine yourself waking up in
the morning with 100 feet of empty space between your bed and the
ground? Guess you have a noodle stuck in your throat just for thinking
of it.
Isolated Korowai
tribe from New Guinea has been living this way for generations now.
Making their houses high above the ground in the tree canopy without
utilizing any modern construction tools or cranes. Reason for this way
of living are the severe floods and many dangerous species of insects
that inhabit ground level. For those interested to know more about
Korowai tribe and their way of living should search for BBC's documentary 'Human Planet'.
